Heads up... we're on the road with Black Box!

If you were watching our socials you've been seeing a bunch of events for the book pop up! Last week, we had a few of the art teams from Black Box Chronicles... some in person and some joining over zoom, take the stage at the Wacom Experience Center, in Portland, Oregon. The panel discussion featured the creators Mark Schey & Chris Northrop, alongside Taki Soma, Michael Avon Oeming, Shane Molina, and Eryk Donovan.

We are so excited we put this together with Wacom. We'd also like to give a much-earned special thanks to Mitch Neztzer for capturing some great moments from this event in the photos that pepper this update.

To everyone who made it out to join us, we can't thank you enough for your support and enthusiasm.

And now that we've done one event, we're ready for more...

We're pumped to share that we'll be doing it all over again—yes, you heard right!—this time at Things From Another World in Beaverton, Oregon, just around the corner from Portland! This is a free event.

Yes, you read that right! After navigating through the wild orbit of production, we are thrilled to announce that the pledges for our sci-fi anthology are officially shipping. Each page of this 172-page graphic novel is packed with interstellar adventures, bringing our vision to life. Welcome to The Great Outward Expansion!

Hey everyone!

I know we said in the last update from 2 weeks ago that the next update would hopefully report "EVERYTHING IS SENT!", but the warehouse is still finishing the kitting and assembly at the time of this writing. Thanksgiving and other holiday factors have been keeping the extremely busy, but we are pushing them to hopefully have things starting to leave their dock by the end of next week. That said, we want to make sure we have confirmation from them before reporting anything as fact. They know how anxious and patient you all have been (we've repeatedly impressed that upon them for urgency), and they are on the task. So hopefully next week we can post that update headline for real. 😊

In the meantime, we CAN report this announcement:

YOUR AMBASSADOR POINTS HAVE BEEN AWARDED!

If you missed the mention on the campaign page, every pledge includes a number of Ambassador Points equivalent to your final order total (including postage). These are unique reward points that can be collected and redeemed for discounts and rewards on our webstore, and a great way to support Magnetic Press further (while building up a collection of cool books and stuff in the process)!
